The society meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month in September, January, March and June, with presentations on various historical and genealogical topics. Meetings are at 7 p.m. with social time beginning at 6:30 p.m.
We also hold an annual tour of Oaklawn Cemetery each October. Actors portray various residents of the cemetery, giving tour groups the opportunity to learn about the history of our area and the people who lived here.
